In the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District, our role is simple: to support our communities by providing our students with the chance to reach their highest levels of potential. We love to see our students thrive, both inside and outside the classroom.

Our district is nestled on the riverfront and back hills of rural Southeastern Ohio, consisting of five schools serving grades K-8; three high schools serving grades 9-12; and a career center serving grades 10-12.

We are officially the largest district geographically in the great state of Ohio, covering an astonishing 546 square miles. Our schools lie in Beallsville, Woodsfield, Graysville, Powhatan, and Hannibal.
