SOLSD is offering multiple opportunities for students to attend job shadowings, tours, and other virtual events with guest speakers. SOLSD makes the future of our students a priority, which is why we have organized these opportunities for students to attend -- we will also have more opportunities coming up. 

Check out what we have coming up for our students: 

• Mike Covet, Workforce Development Coordinator of Washington State Community college, will be speaking on interviewing skills on April 7

• Linn Yost, CEO of Micro-Machines and President of the Appalachia Ohio Manufacturing Alliance (AOMA) will be speaking on the industry job demands and credentials on April 7

• Criminal Justice job shadow scheduled for April 14

• Opportunities for job shadows of medical techs, nursing, and welding will be scheduled for the near future

• Engineering/Manufacturing tours will be scheduled toward the end of April
